You brought out my features so beautifully… even the features that I’m usually self-conscious about, you somehow made so gorgeous. Everything lasted all day and all night, even in the heat of August! Your recommendation of extensions to my usually thin and flat hair saved my photos, and I still look back on them like “how did she make my flat hair look that great?!” Not only are you magic with your hands, you are truly such a gem, inside and out. Apphia is an incredible hair and makeup artist. I contacted her only one month before my wedding, and she was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the whole planning process. Even though I didn’t do a pre-wedding trial due to COVID, she executed my hair and makeup dreams the day of flawlessly. She traveled to two locations starting super early morning on my wedding day to complete 4 updos and do my makeup. I would definitely recommend her a million times over to any bride for her warm personality, ease to work with, and her amazing artistry!

Apphia and her sister were an absolute joy to work with for our wedding hairstyling services. First off, doing the trial was a really great time to meet Apphia in person, and she really took the time to listen to what I was envisioning and took my feedback in stride. Then on the wedding day, they were punctual, worked efficiently, and brought such a positive energy. They styled my mom, mother-in-law, 6 bridesmaids and myself, so it definitely was a bigger group. I let everyone pick what kind of style they wanted to do, and it was incredible to see how Apphia and her sisters took everyone's preferences and made a unique look for each person. They made everyone feel beautiful and each style also had lasting power throughout the entire day, even all the curled styles, despite several of us having stubbornly straight hair. Their sweet demeanor put everyone at ease and it was a pleasure to have them all in the room with us. I truly felt the most beautiful I've ever felt in my entire life and that was largely thanks in part to Apphia and her skills. I feel very blessed to have been connected with Apphia and to have her and her team as part of my wedding day!

PRO TIP for your wedding day: book Apphia. Apphia styled the updo of my dreams for my wedding day! She is the sweetest and kindest to work with, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. I was a little hesitant about how comfortable an updo would be, but Apphia made the updo easy to wear and sturdy at the same time—my low bun stayed intact, even through hours of dancing! I felt so beautiful and confident the whole day and I can’t thank her enough!!

Weddings can get stressful, especially during the pandemic, but they were all wonderful to work with and made the process so fun! Apphia is a phenomenal makeup and hair artist.
